Chilworth Street is great starting point

For those hoping to discover more about London’s Bayswater area then heading towards Chilworth Street could be a great starting point.

Found in the heart of the City of Westminster, Chilworth Street is a very desirable area and is close to a number of leading attractions and experiences.

It is definitely a busy place and therefore, there is always something happening. One of the popular destinations is the Art Work Space –  an independent art gallery.

The venue, which is around four minutes from Chilworth Street, specialises in showcasing work from emerging artists in a variety of medias, including painting, drawing, print and photography.

In addition, the gallery boasts a high-tech work space that is equipped with all the latest gadgets – making it ideal for meetings and company presentations. It even has its own private bar and entrance, meaning it has been used for a variety of purposes such as product launches, fashion shows and wedding ceremonies.

If you are looking for something to eat, then just a one-minute walk from Chilworth Street is Bizzarro.

Opened in 1957, the restaurant offers the best in Italian food and is recommended for its generous portions at affordable prices.  Sometimes, there is even live music on the restaurant’s stage and the downstairs can be reserved for private parties for up to 75 guests.

Bizzarro is open from 12:00 to 23:30 Monday to Saturday, and from 12:00 to 23:00 on Sundays.

Alternatively, there is Assaha, which specializes in Lebanese food. The décor is a mix of twee and charming, but great for those who appreciate middle eastern cuisine.  However, be aware the restaurant does not serve alcohol, although there is a wide menu of soft drinks on offer, including many fresh juices.

The nearest London Underground station to Chilworth Street is Paddington Railway Station which is around three minutes to the north of the busy street. Alternatively, Lancaster Gate Tube Station can be found six minutes’ walk away.

For those travelling by mainland railway services, then the nearest train station is Paddington Railway Station, around three minutes away, while Marylebone Railway Station is just over 15 minutes away.

Drivers looking for car parking close to the area, should look for spaces in Colonnades NCP, four minutes away from Chilworth Street, and Queensway Masterpark, which is seven minutes’ walk away.
