The best places for kids stuff in London

London is the perfect place for children and there is an amazing number of attractions to choose from – the London Eye, London Zoo in Regent’s Park or the Harry Potter Experience…. the list is endless.

However, did you know that London also has some fabulous shops that sell a whole range of great accessories for children?

Harrods – Brompton Road, Knightsbridge

The world famous department store is perfect for those families who maybe have a little more than the average to spend on making their offspring look great.

Harrods has a large childrenswear department and offers a really lovely shopping experience. Of course, all the top brand names are represented – Armani, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana.

Of course, once you have found that perfect accessory, there is plenty more to do at Harrods.

Founded in 1849, the iconic shop has developed over the years into a great place to spend the day – it does have seven floors!

It is a great place to grab something to eat, in fact there are more than 30 eateries in the store so there is plenty to choose from and find something that will please even the fussiest child.

Igloo – St John’s Wood High Street, Islington

Found in the popular northern area of London, Igloo is a really great boutique selling a fab mix of clothes, accessories and toys. It boasts a good range of educational products so there is plenty to keep children and parents happy.

Being a rather trendy shop, Igloo stocks a comprehensive selection of designer brands including Paul Smith, UGG and Ver de Terre.

It is worth noting there are a couple of other Igloo outlets in the capital – in Wimbledon and Chelsea – so it should be easy to factor a visit during your stay in London.

Oh Baby London – Brick Lane, Tower Hamlets

For those with younger children then Oh Baby London in the east end of London is an ideal destination. One of the store’s most appealing items is a whole range of cute babygrows that feature witty slogans – making them stand out against the usual pink and blue onesies.

Oh Baby has been going for over a decade and its best-selling logo remains its ‘been inside for 9 months’ babygrow.
