One of the best things about London – aside from the food, the culture, the bars and the history – is its thriving music scene. There are venues great and small regularly playing host to some of the biggest names in music. There’s no better place to be in the whole country than London when it comes to seeing amazing live music.

So, if you’re looking for a concert to make your July weekend break complete, read on.

Justin Timberlake

It seems like an eternity ago that Justin Timberlake was one of the guys in N’Sync. Since then, he’s shed the blonde tinted mini-afro and turned himself into one of the biggest musical artists on the planet.

And he’ll be in London in July as part of his ‘Man of the Woods’ tour. Taking up residence in the O2 Arena, Timberlake will be performing on the 11th of July, singing his multi-platinum hits surrounded by what is sure to be a first-rate production. Taking advantage of our London Paddington hotel deals, you’ll be perfectly placed to see what is sure to be an unforgettable show.

Timberlake is known for his lavish stage shows, and this is your chance to see him shimmy and croon his way across the stage in one of the best venues in the capital.

Kaleidoscope Festival

A brand new, one-day event, Kaleidoscope Festival is taking place on the 21st July at Alexandra Palace. Only a half-hour tube journey from your Grand Park London Paddington Hotel.

Flaming Lips, Ghost Poet, Mystery Jets and Beth Orton are the biggest names on the roster, but there will be more than twenty bands to enjoy on the day. More than this, though, the festival also places a heavy emphasis on arts. There will be plenty to do and see during the day, with food and drink also on-site.

With so much on offer, you might end up wishing it was longer than just one day.

Cee-Lo Green

An all-around dynamo, American singer, rapper, songwriter and producer Cee-Lo Green will be bringing his unique and utterly danceable music to KOKO on the 12th of July.

It’s less than a half-hour journey from your Paddington Hotel London and promises to be an amazing night. Green is known for his energetic and enthusiastic stage presence and he has long had a great deal of popularity this side of the pond.

KOKO is also one of London’s most famous, smaller gig sites, so it’s something you can check off your list of ‘London Sights to See’.

De La Soul

Taking place at Somerset House on Saturday 14th July, De La Soul’s appearance in the capital comes as part of ‘The Summer Series’, which is a summer long – as you might have guessed – collection of concerts taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Somerset House. Even better, it’s only a short hop from your room at the Grand Park London Paddington hotel.

De La Soul have been making amazing music for decades now, and they’re sure to bring their hefty back catalogue to bear. Before you know it, you’ll be up and dancing.
